From the 1st of July 2025, women and people with a cervix aged 25-49 years who test HPV negative - meaning they are at very low risk of cervical cancer over the next 10 years - will be invited for screening every 5 years, instead of every 3. This change is as a result of improved HPV testing.
If you are eligable you will recevie an invite and reminders for this via the NHS app, so please make sure you have your notifications ON or you will be invited in via the surgery by text message or you can also call us on 01223 423424 to book an appointment with one of our nurses.

If you receive an invite, please don't delay in booking your appointment.
